Examples of Services

Many customers benefit from green coating applications. We have worked on various projects using insulative and energy-saving coatings.  For instance, we applied Super Therm® coating on a commercial building roof to control air conditioning costs.  We’ve also used Super Therm® coating on the exterior of an old stucco home to save on utilities.

Processes Used During Job

Our coating installation crews will use whatever process necessary to achieve the highest quality results for our customers. We work with power sprayers, manual application (brush and roll) and any other technique the job demands.

Super Therm®

Super Therm® is a ceramic based, water-borne, insulating coating, designed to block heat load, moisture penetration, and air infiltration over a surface and to reduce energy costs. • Blocks Moisture and Air Infiltration – Super Therm® is certified and tested as a moisture and air barrier under ASTM certified testing.
  • Class A Fire Rating – In case of fire, Super Therm® will not contribute and will resist the spread of fire. “0” Flame and smoke.

Fluid Applied Roof Coatings

Many metal and flat roofs don’t necessarily have to be replaced when they begin to fail, but can be completely renovated with a roof coating. Flat roofs are slower in shedding water and even the slightest problem in the seal can lead to leaks. Metal roofing eventually begins to chip, oxidize, corrode and develop small leaks. The cost-effective and foolproof answer to both problems is roof coatings applied by a qualified industrial / commercial painting contractor. Here are some reasons why:

Cost-Effective —

Roof painting services are cheaper than replacing a roof altogether, and last a long time.

Waterproof —

Elastic coatings like elastomeric are able to bridge hairline gaps or small holes.

Convenient —

Installation is both faster and less disruptive to your business.

Energy-efficient —

Reflective fluid-applied roof coatings keep solar heat from driving up your A/C costs.

A fluid-applied roof coating like elastomeric coatings are excellent roofing solutions for restaurants, retail buildings, warehouses, industrial properties, medical buildings, and any other building with a metal or flat roof.

To find out if your building can benefit from fluid-applied roof coatings, speak with a knowledgeable industrial / commercial painting contractor..

Commercial Roof Coating Services

Roof coating systems properly applied on commercial building roofs, pipes, and other rooftop equipment can both seal and waterproof your roof. A good roof coating can also help moderate temperatures inside the commercial property as well.
If you find that your commercial roof is in overall sound condition, consider hiring the roof coating specialists at your local independently owned and operated Sunfix Paints to apply a roof coating that can help your roof last for years. The savings over total roof replacement, which isn’t always necessary, can be considerable.

How to Fix a Leaky Roof in Commercial Buildings

It’s important to select the correct type of roof coating for the weather in your area. A cold, snowy climate requires a different type of coating than a hot, humid environment. The current condition of your roof also needs to be taken into account because parts of the roof may need to be repaired prior to application. The roofing material, size and slope will play a factor in the type of roof coating, too.
Proper preparation before applying roof coatings is also vital. Incorrect prep or product application will void warranties, and lead to leaks that damage your roofing substrate and interior building structure. So, it’s best to hire roof coating professionals to ensure that your roof coating is properly applied for protection now and for years ahead.
